Phaleanopsis flower spikes

New to the orchid world and loving it! Is it normal for my orchid to put out 2 flower spikes? Not sure of its variety as it was given to me. Thanks!!

Yep, the more spikes the more flowers & a prettier display! Is it a phalaenopsis?
