Any truth to this?
I read in another orchid forum where an expert grower in Orchids gave a tip on how to force more bloom in a Phal after the last flower dropped. He/she said to go down on that spike to the first bloom node and detect a 'swelling' in that spike at the base of that node and cut it. That swelling is your next bloom . I am just at that stage as soon as my last bloom ends. So far I see no swelling in that area that was depicted. Maybe by cutting it there the swelling begins?
