squash bug help

How can I get rid of squash bugs. I'm going out tomorrow to hand pick and destroy. Is there an easier way to catch alot of them at once?

Squash Bug control (you probably will never get rid of them) is a multi faceted program starting right after planting and continuing through putting the garden to bed. Squash bugs appear to have developed immunities to some of the poisons people have sprayed for years and in the home garden hand picking is probably the safest method.
Insecticidal soaps can be of some use when these buggers are in the nymph stage. Neem oil sprays do appear to help, and pyrethrins, if used early in the life can help. Encouraging the predators of Squash Bugs to hang around is helpful although that cna mean not using any of those pesticides.

Thanks for the info! I don't want to spray anything. I'm going to try the board method. I had read about that technique for use in the winter, but not for during the season.
