What's been blooming this summer

mjhuntingtonbeachSeptember 13, 2009

Well not quite the tropics here but I can grow a fair number of things outside, at least in the summer. Here's what's been blooming indoors and out:

Spring: Vanda Robert's Delight Big Black (in vase culture)

Vanda Tokyo Blue "Sapphire"

and as Tokyo peters out, Vanda Manuvadee comes roaring in...

Sibling rivalry:

and to come, a Vanda Mote's Indigo, starting an inflo now:

Last year's blooms from the Mote's :

and finally, a laelia purpurata hybrid I had blooming in June:

Life is good.. simple is best..... cheers
