lasagna question

nixon(z5ny)September 30, 2008

help! i read the book i did the stuff and the edges of my garden look horrible, it is a foot+ above grade, looks like a brown queensize bed with flowers on top, all i can think of is shrubs? or landscape timbers?, i am not pleased, but i have no weeds and everything transplanted well.

How old is your bed? If it's only a year old, it will slowly lower as it continues to compost.

I have a retaining wall around mine but I have to let you know that mine composted down and is almost at ground level.

You might post the message, with a photo if possible, on the Soil Compost & Mulch Forum.

Best luck!
