number of leaves per leaflet - any indication as to rose type

vettin(z6b Northern VA)April 26, 2011

I noticed that one of the mysery roses has three leaves on a leaflet, whereas most of my other roses have 5 or 7. Does this narrow down hat it is at all? It has a flower bud, so I will find out soon, but that would require patience!

Thank you

Yes. The number of leaflets per leaf is one identifying characteristic that would be taken into consideration.
