This is tiny little caudex, but the bloom is very big. I hope as the plant gets bigger, the bloom gets bigger too.
I lost the name tag.
Oh Marie! What a lovely plant that is, the flower is lovely....and so BIG! Do Adenium flowers last very long? I hope so as that's so nice it would be such a shame if it faded away quickly.
Gill from the UK.
It's lovely! The bloom doesn't look particularly heavy. I recall you saying that many of the triple blooms collapsed due to their weight.
Do you do any hand pollination? Are there any issues with the double or triple blooms being sterile?
Gill, the adenium bloom last atleast one week or longer, if the pot small enough to bring it into shaded area, it will last about 10 days.
Yes, Karyn if many buds at the point of the branch is too heavy, the blooms pull down. No, I don't do any pollination. Because I don't have patience.
Marie, congrats on your bloom, it's perfect! Such a nice rose like overlapping petals! Need to show it to DH, just in case he believes that I'm done with adeniums! ;0)
Thank you Gill, Karyn and Aggie. I hope by this time next month I will have many pictures to show you about my DR collection. Many buds are forming right now.
I'm seriously impressed \0/
This is my dream plant with the big triple bloom. Love it. Thanks for showing
I am reporting back to see how much this plant grows in 5 months. It grow very fast. The last 2 pictures taken yesterday.
