at a garage sale last week a lady had free old violets, the one I got has two large woody stems with tops filled with leaves, what do I do to get it to bloom? is there such a thing as an heirloom violet? thankyou carol
Click on FAQs up at the top and then select African Violets. I think that will be a good start for getting it to bloom. It sounds like there might be two in one pot? While you're taking care of their long stems you might consider separating them into their own pots.
Is it true that cigarette smoke will prevent african violets from blooming?
