Welcome!!

Is it a Robs Boondoggle? Hard to say if it is green or variegated.

It is green and YES it is Robs Boondoggle. I was very surprised that you can identified it. You must be a Guru ^^

What African violet do you have?

Excellent variety, my mini of choice.

I side with Linda - you are doing very well on your own. Looks like you didn't lose your green thumb at all.

Welcome, Au. I learn something new or improved each time I visit this forum!

How popular are African violets in Thailand? I know that they are very popular in the United States (where I live), Canada, the UK, Russia, Ukraine, Taiwan and are very easy to find and purchase in those parts of the world. How about in Thailand? I'm always curious about the African violet scene in different countries :)

Kri,

Since you asked, here are the basics:

Do not over-pot. Pot size should be 1/3 the diameter of your plant.
Do not over-water. Let the soil get just moist and then water thoroughly.
Lots of light but no sun, unless it's morning sun.
Do not put outside. Too many pests, diseases and variables.
Temperatures around the upper sixties (F) to lower seventies is ideal.
Try to re-pot about every six months. Soil gets depleted of nutrients after a while.
Fertilize weekly, weakly.

This should get you started. Any more questions, just ask!
