has anyone tried using a germination heating mat underneath violet leaves? Do you think it would produce stronger or faster baby plantlets?

It is more of an advantage if you are doing hybridizing and growing them from seeds. If your room is about 70-74F it should be just right without any heat.

Thanks for the reply. I live in western NY and the room is usually around 61-67F. Anyway, I have set up two trays, one with a heat mat and one without, just to see what happens. I will share my results here if I see anything interesting.
