Help

I put down some leaves (first time I didn't root in water). I didn't cut the stem short enough so babies have formed at leaf level with about an 1-1/2 stem below them. Can they stay and grow there or should I put in a deeper pot so they are at soil level? Or should I chalk this one up to experience and discard. Thanks as always for your input.

Kathy, as long as they're healthy, I'd say leave 'em be.

If you mean they're growing above the soil and don't have roots, let them get two or three sets of leaves, then carefully cut them off and root them like suckers. You never know what you'll get. I once had a girl leaf that made babies all over the surface of the leaf!

Good luck.
