A couple of oldies that I used to grow back in the day. Grown from leaves from the Violet Gallery.
My two favorite violets of all time. :)
I have Seafoam, still a young plant, can't wait for it to mature and bloom. Thanks for sharing the pix.
Great looking plants!
Aha - I can see you got Firebird -II - way to go! Love this plant!
Was not really happy with Seafoam - seem that you have a much better clone - my impression was - large unruly plant, very breakable leaves, small dropper flowers.
Thanks for your comments!
Beautiful! Any growing tips for Seafoam? I have a small plant. Thanks.
Barbara - Mine has been a slow grower. It took more than a year from a leaf to get to flowering size. I've gradually moved it up to its 3 inch Oyama pot over that time. Patience!
Thanks, Bayard! It's grown three new leaves since I've had it, and I'm pretty happy about that! Also giving it natural light... so far so good! :)
Wow! They are gorgeous! You are a good grower, I've seen your set up for the plants. In this kind of set up the SHOULD be beautiful - enough light, enough space. Thank you for sharing.
