graping african violets

I have 2 african violets that I wanna graph so I'm starting 2 leaf cuttings today so they will b the same size my question is has any1 done this I don't care if the African violet dies I have a lot of them

Are you talking about recording the progress of your leaf-starts ?

I've seen a few competitions on-line to see who could get from a leaf-start to a blooming plant the fastest.

"Violet Voice" has these contests periodically.

No I wanna cut them then use graphing tape and tape them together

Are you going to graft them? Means to produce two head monster with different blossoms? You can do it - but WHY?

African violets seem pretty easy to propagate and divide... I'm not sure what grafting would accomplish.
