Hard thick leaves

gree_knees(6a)August 30, 2008

Why would an AV's leaves get thick, hard and smaller? I only had 2 and one is outside because I feared it might be caused by a bug. I can't see any signs of pests, but I guess there could be & I don't know what to look for. Anita

It might be mites, but it could also be too much fertilizer.
Having it outside is a great way to get bugs on it, tho..
