split leaf philodendron in aquarium

nlbennertMarch 12, 2014

I would like to plant a split leaf philodendron (monstera deliciosa) in my 55 gallon cichlid aquarium. Would I be able to grow it bare root or would it need a substrate? Any opinions or information would be appreciated. Thank you!

Do not put the whole plant under water, Just let it float on top of the water. It will send out roots and do OK.
