36 galllon fishtank

greenthumb_5(6a-7b)July 10, 2013

I have a pacu with ate his two tankmates. And there is two more left and one on the missing fish list, but recently the tank is so green. There is no direct light but within two days the water would be deep green to the point you can only see an inch from the glass. Any idea about the control of this horrible algae bloom? The water tests were all perfect and were at 0.

Contradiction in the statement no direct light and water pea soup green. Algae bloom occurs only in to much light unless you have brown anaerobic algae. In short, too much light, reduce it.
