beta not eating, behaving strangely, seems depressed
i've been looking after a beta for almost a year now in my office at work. the fish has been absolutely fine with a 1-gallon tank and a diet of dried bloodworms. i keep marbles and stones as well as a live plant in the aquarium. almost 2 weeks ago, the fish quit eating. a few days after the onset of the fast, it began swimming crazily around the tank, bumping into walls, etc. i did a full water change and afterwards treated the water with aqua-sol and aquarium salt. this treatment has been going on for almost a week now, with aqua-sol added to the water on 5 different days. the fish is no longer bumping into walls but still refuses to eat. it now seems to just "hang out," occasionally swimming on the diagonal. i am concerned about the fish and am unsure what step to take next. please help so i can get him active again! thank you!
