Do these grow in storage?

Last fall when I dug my Amorph Konjac there were a bunch of babes about the size of a quarter. I packed them in dry peat and stuck 'em in the coldest part of my basement. Today, when I checked on them some were almost 2 1/2 inches across! They still hadn't sprouted, but were much larger than last fall. Normal?

It is not unusual for bulbs to sort of change shape. I grow a bunch of different ones and have seen some weird things. Go ahead and put them in the soil.

These didn't just change shape. They grew. Even the mother tuber is much, much larger. Not complaining at all.

Krstofer - for a price. LOL
