When can I plant without danger in my pots?

coxy(6)April 16, 2013

I will be planting my containers in a week or so and even though I know my Black Magic roots won't grow till it gets warmer, is it ok to just get them in now so I don't have to disrupt the pots later?

Keep them on the dry side and away from frost until they show signs of growth.
Once they poke thru the soil surface, you can water thoroughly.
Are you planning on putting them outside?
