Amorphophallus konjac bloom timing

daveh_sf(San Francisco)April 27, 2011

I have an A. konjac which is putting up a flower spike for the first time now. It's about 3 ft. tall now and looks like it may open any day now. I'm hoping it will be in bloom for an upcoming garden show in a week. Can anyone tell me about how many days does the bloom last?

I know I'm late but about a week or so. The stink lasts about 2 days. I had 2 bloom for me this spring!
