colocassia fallax

amyta(z8 mid GA)June 20, 2010

I have a damp patch I could plant something in and was interested in this because of it's size. In reading about it I keep noticing that it is "vigorous". The last time I planted something described this way it was way more than I bargained for. Would you consider this plant invasive?

Could you suggest something that isn't invasive that is hardy in zone 8. Thanks.

Yes this plant is extremely invasive. I would be very careful planting it. It has taken over large portions of my landscape and has to be constantly pulled out.
