Elephant Ear leaves drooping to ground

johnCT(Z6 CT)July 21, 2005

My two elephant ear plant's seem to be doing very well except that some of the leaves are drooping down to the ground. Is this normal or is it a sign that they aren't getting enough water or nutrients? Thanks.

Gut feeling would be not enough water. Does it look wilted? Another possibility is just something normal. I've noticed that as leaves age, they do this and then become yellow and die.

Thanks for the reply Kevin. No, they really don't look wilted. I put them in what I thought was a wet area. I watered them good last night and gave them some MG.
