Peace lily from seed?

hoe_hoe_hoe(6b)September 16, 2006

I have a peace lily with maturing fruit. I squashed one to find the seeds inside. I don't know much about aroids in general, but would like to try to growing these from seed. The plant has produced several double double flowers.

Can anyone advise as to growing these from seed? When to harvest?, medium?, light?, germination time?

I really wish someone could shed some light on this subject. I have several peace lilies and one is dropping some kind of white powder all over the place. It is the only one that does this and im wondering if it is a pollinator. Ive decided to move all my peace lilies near this one and hope for the best.
