homeowner_ne(z5 MA)June 2, 2006

Hi... Located in Eastern MA near New Hampshire border... Want to plant an azalea bush... Cant seem to find in local Box stores (HD)... Any ideas of local farms or reliable online web sites where I can get them from?

Thanks

It is not near you, but Mezzitt Nurseries in Hopkinton, MA is one of the premier azalea and rhododendron nurseries in New England. They are the home of the PJM rhododendrons, which are small leaved rhododendrons that are among the most cold hardy rhododendrons in the world. Their price list has over 100 different azaleas. They have just about everthing and know what they have.

They are just East of I-495 and just South of I-90 on MA 135 and are open 7 days each week. For a specific variety, call a week in advance. They have a website:
