should arisaema seed be dried?

lilydudeOctober 1, 2006

I just collected some Arisaema candidissimum seed that fell off the plant, even though the "berries" are still green. Should I plant them now, or should I let them dry?

I don't have that variety, but mine seem to do best with fresh seed.

Candidissimum gives so many offsets (at least for me) you will probably find it simpler/quicker to propagate from those rather than wait for seed. Mine flower second year from offset.
