One, Two, Three, Four?

I have experienced this before with a delivery of
The Prince.

Often in Chamblee's pots, there is more than 1 rose in the pot. The other might be a tiny rooted band. If you are very careful, you can divide and have an extra for the front garden. Hence, I ended up with 2 Perfect Plum (Kordes, Germany).

This is the tiny "bonus" which bloomed today. If you love mauve, plum, purple, violet, aubergine, eggplant....Perfect Plum is well, perfect!

Good looking rose. I got a Plum Perfect from Chamblee's as well. So far, it is growing well, but it has deigned to bloom for me yet.

I asked about the extra roses, and was told that they often put in three since they send out roses that are so young. That way we should end up with at least one that is strong, and will thrive.

Ralph Moore always did that. And we do it here, as well.

I've tried and tried to separate these little guys and most often I end up with 4 dead plants. I've learned the hard way to just leave them alone and treat them as one plant.
