pecan trees

ingramJanuary 13, 2007

I have a very old pecan tree, 100+ years. I know that there are years that they dont produce nuts. For the last three years the tree is producing nuts that are smaller than normal and they are powdery inside. I would like to know if it needs fertilizer or if there is something I can do to help this old soldier.

You may want to check with your local ACES/AL Cooperative Extension System.
