how to move a trillium

loveofmylife680(z7)April 12, 2006

I found some in my woods and want to move them I tried one and thought I was digging deep enough but she looks kinda wilted is that normal on a transplant I watered it good and it looked like I got all the roots because I dug deep and wide.

If you are moving the Trillium Cuneatum, which it sounds like from your former post you probably have, they will go dormant soon anyway. I would just plant the rhizome and look for it next year.
