When is the best time to plant ginger lilies? I am looking for the ginger lily 'Elizabeth'. Does anyone have any extra rizones of them? Vivilet

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. Here's a picture of a Hummingbird Moth feeding on my wife's Ginger Lilly. Thanks to whoever ID'ed it on the previous ginger lilly thread.

Here is a link that might be useful:

Vivilet I have planted gingers through October in the fall. The BEST time to plant is really in the spring. You may have blooms by the time fall weather rolls around if you do it that way.
