Anybody Growing Peggy Martin in zone 5?

I bought a small own-root Peggy Martin from Chamblees this spring and it has taken off like gangbusters - almost all the way to the top of the arbor. Now that I'm winterizing my more tender roses, I'm unsure about what to do with Peggy. Should I mound the base with 12" of mulch like I do with my more tender roses? Do I wrap the canes in burlap like I do my more tender climbers? Or do I leave her be and see how she deals with Old Man Winter? She is amazingly disease free, even after cool rainy fall days and nights and wonderfully thorn free for folks who don't like prickles. But I still am not sure about her winter har
