Last year nearly all my daffodils were showing some greenery by now... too cold this winter! But some are starting to peek above the soil. I bought bulbs of "Golden Bells", a hoop daffodil, this time, and they are by far the most advanced, about 6 inches of leaves. "Jetfire" is just a glimmer of leaves poking through, and nothing else is visible in my beds. I put out crocuses, grape hyacinths, and - what are they called? Japanese Iris? - so I am expecting a nice show this spring. May it come early!

My autumn stonecrop sedum ("Mr. Goodbud"), feverfew and asparagus are sprouting. Too early guys, too early!

I am hoping they are right though!
