I have a quick question.
What temperatures do I need before I can transplant my Leeks seedlings outdoors? Right now they are under fluorescent lights in my basement at about 65-70 degrees. Everything I have found on leeks says they are cold hardy, but is talking about early winter rather than early spring. Are the seedlings cold hardy? Here in SW Kansas we have cool days(40-60*) and the nights are still falling below freezing, but just barely. Like around 25-30*. Is that good enough if they are hardened off? Or do I need to wait until all danger of frost is past?
I appreciate any guidance you can give me.
