Growing Ramps from farmer's market plants?
I bought some ramps at the local farmers market and they had the roots intact on the ends. They didn't look much different than the little onion plant bunches you buy at garden centers.
Is there a way to transplant / replant them in the wild like you would with onions?
I found a site online that said you can cut off the end with the roots, soak it in water for a few days and then transplant into soil.
Has anyone ever tired this?
Does it work?
Should I plant them like onions (roots underground and "bulb" part above ground)?
