Garlic and Onion harvest starts!
I snapped a couple of pics yesterday after digging the first of the garlic and about 1/10th of the overwintering onions. I should get to the rest of the onions tomorrow, weather permitting.
The garlic variety is Shandung. It's by far my earliest hardneck (Turban) and one of the most pungent. The size is fantastic for the dry spring we had out here.
The Onions are T-420.
