Crassula setulosa 'Little Star'

shrubs_n_bulbs(z8/9 UK)October 16, 2005

I posted a picture of this in the Cactus & Succulent Gallery earlier in the year and nobody knew much about it. I would welcome any information that alpine growers might have. I pulled a piece off for insurance and stuck it in this pot. As you can see its pretty vigorous.

Is this a hardy crassula or a sedum? Whatever it is, I like it. :)

It was sold to me as being hardy outdoors here. The regular green Crassula setulosa seems to be borderline hardy in Britain but I don't know anyone who has tried this one.

It doesn't do cold and wet so well! Here it is after a very wet October and then several days under snow:

Still alive but not so happy.
