looking for Allium chinense or rakkyo source

Alfred3(7a)October 23, 2011

I am looking to find a source for Allium chinense or rakkyo. Any information would be helpful on where I can obtain this plant. Apparently it does not form seeds.

Try the search in the green box, then the go in the red box.
I never heard of rakkyo, please post back if you find some.

Sorry to revive an old, old thread. But can one of you allium experts tell me if this is rakkyo? I got them from a Korean market today, and he said these are special chives that are very strong and used in kimchi.

Thanks,
