Will allium seeds grow into plants????

I collected some seeds from my giant allium, should I plant them as any other seed and expect plants to grow? I started with bulbs & got 6 lovely flowers this year, then collected the seeds.PLMK, thanks, susan

But realize it will take a few seasons for them to get to flowering size.
