Source for Michelias in the Dallas area?

mrao77(TX US zone 7)May 4, 2006

I was wondering if anyone knows of a local source for a Michelias (champaka or alba)in the Dallas area. I cannot afford to pay the atrocious shipping charges and the minimum order required by some of the online companies.

Anyone has a tree and can share seedlings? I would be happy ot trade or send postage. Plmk

Michelia is not hardy in DFW. There is a Vietnamese nursery in Irving and it carries Michelia.

What's the name of that nursery? Is it Doan's?
