Peperomia pellucida

Jamus_S(SA Australia)February 1, 2006

Is anyone familiar with this plant? I was given a cutting of an unknown vegetable which I *think* might be Peperomia pellucida. It was largish succulent deeply veined leaves, succulent segmented stems and the leaves when crushed have a spicy, almost carrotish aroma with a fishy undertone. Does this sound right?
