Ma lan vegetable

fragrantgardener01March 7, 2010

Just ate a vegetable in an Asian dumpling called Ma Lan Vegetable. The restaurant owner didn't know the English name. Might anyone here know? Might it be shepard's purse?

Thanks,

FG

Could it be gai lan, otherwise known as Chinese broccoli or Chinese kale?

How would you describe it?
