Feeding Citrus Redux

I have a smallish but established citrus, so it definitely needs feeding. The question I haven't seen answered is, is it too late now for the "Valentine's Day" feeding? I know you aren't supposed to feed some plants when they're blooming (or about to bloom), and my tree is *covered* with very fat buds. Should I feed now, or wait and start with the Memorial Day feeding?

FTR I don't think the tree has been particularly well cared-for in the past. It had a decent crop (oranges) when we moved in, but they don't really taste like much. There are also a bunch of fruits near the top that look they've probably been there since last season.

Go ahead and give them a half dose now, and another half a month later. A full dose might knock all the flowers off, preventing a crop this year.
