Punta Banda tomatoes

birdlady21March 24, 2009

I recently found seed for the punta banda tomato, a variety that I understand grows really well in the desert heat. Has anyone else ever tried growing this variety in the desert?

I found the seed on ebay. I had done research on this variety. I looked for both plants and seeds at local garden centers and nurseries, but I didn't find either. And, so far, I haven't found anyone who has ever grown them.
