Banana Tree falls over

Why does my banana tree fall over when it's producing the fruit? Also does anyone know what kind of banana tree it is?

from the looks of it a dwarf cavendish. just about all banana need to be propped up when they start to bloom to support the massive weight on the p stem. You can find diagrams on the net of how to make the prop out of PVC pipe. nice job gettin it to fruit.
