Moso question

gardensnail22April 25, 2010

My Moso grove is taking a beating from the wind today. A few of the new tender culms that are about 25' to 30' tall already have had the tips broken off!!! What happens now??? Do they keep growing taller??? Thanks Jane

If the culms are still in the growing stage, they may still grow taller, but the tops are gone for good.

Limbs should soon follow. In other words, you'll have normal culms without the tops. They may be bushier than those that still have the tops.
