overwintering musa basjoo

churchhaus(5)April 17, 2009

Has anyone successfully overwintered a basjoo in MN, or overwintered it's corms? I'm talking overwintering corms like you would cannas rather than potting up the plant.

thank you

I live in Michigan and left mine in the ground with no mulch. They are coming up now. Of course they are near my house and face south. That may of helped keep them alive.
