Boxwoods not filling in?

AZRoboTechMay 7, 2013

Hey all my boxwoods are not doing as well as the other ones in the neighborhood. I water twice a week and everything else that got hit by the frost has bounced back allready. After the frost threat was over I knocked alot of the damaged leaves off. I now wonder if that was a good idea?

A close up the leaves and stems would be nice. There is a chance that it may be something other than a boxwood. It looks a little bit like a dwarf Natal Plum which is way more cold sensitive than a boxwood.

I agree, i dont think that's a boxwood. That looks like a dwarf Natal plum I have. It was big before the frost and now looks like it's about the same size as yours. Does it have little thorns?

You are probably right about it being a dwarf natal plum. It does have very small thorns.
