Dried up Corms on Musa Basjoo!!!

diana55(z8a)April 30, 2007

I bought two Musa Basjoo's on E-Bay and they arrived in Newspaper, wrapped around the corms. They seem really dry, but the leaves on top are still green but wilted. I planted them anyways, in pots. I gave them a drink of water too. Do you think they are going to live. I have them outside in the shade. Diana55

Yes, your bananas should be fine. As long as the corms aren't soft, mushy or brittle and dry falling apart like paper.
