Anyone have any success on growing Heliconias here in Az?

I've been wanting to try and grow some. Anyone have any experience? How well do they take our winters here?

I know they require high humidity but I've had success growing other tropical plants here that also require humidity like colocasia, alocasia and bananas.

I think you can do it if you use anti-transpirants liberally. That's one plant that really requires humidity.
