Do nematodes affect bananas?

kansastropic(5)May 4, 2008

Does anybody know if bananas are affected by nematodes? We have to plant nematode resistant tomatoes here. Should I plant the banana plant into our native soil or do I use a pot. If anyone has other suggestions feel free to share them.

I wouldn't thnk so sonce bananas grow in many harsh environments in the tropics. If you can grow corn in your garden, you can easily grow bananas.
