Help!!!!! my hybiscus is dieing, how do i save it?

rdanielle17(9)June 20, 2009

so I read on one of these forums about puting a cup of white vinigar in a gallon of water and watering the plant to make the leaves get bigger. I did a couple of days ago. within 24 hours everything started wilting and dieing. I repotted the plants in new soil and flushed them with water.... what do I do!!!? I hope I didn't kill them for good?

Keep watering, they might come back after few days must be going through some shock. they like moist soil but not wet feet. I would keep it in full shade until it recovers.

The correct dilution is one TABLESPOON of vinegar in a gallon of water! This is only if you are using water from the tap and not from any filtering system. Don't add this mixture to dry soil, moisten it first with plain water. Some folks use one teaspoon of vinegar in a gallon and add a little more if they don't get the response they're looking for.
